Why We Train Every Household We Install For
A biodigester is only as good as the household's ability to run it. That's why every Greenleaf installation includes hands-on training, not just a handover of keys.
We walk through daily feeding routines, what to do if gas flow drops, how to spot and fix common issues early, and how to apply bio-slurry safely on different crops. It's practical, on-site training aimed at whoever will actually be running the system day to day.
Where there's interest, we also train community members more broadly on the biogas trade itself — installation, maintenance, and appliance servicing. It's part of how we think about job creation alongside clean energy access, building local skills that outlast any single project.
On paper, training is a small part of an installation. In practice, it's often the difference between a digester that keeps running well for years and one that falls into disuse within months because nobody knew how to keep it going.
